FIRE SYSTEMS
Smoke is detected before the flame.
In a fire, minutes decide. A smoke detector alerts before the flame takes hold — and the centre verifies and starts the alert immediately.
WHEN IT HELPS, WHEN IT DOESN'T
It makes sense when:
- The building has no people in every room at all times.
- You keep material that catches fire quickly.
- You need early warning that saves minutes.
- You want fire alerts to reach the centre, not just a local bell.
It doesn't when:
- You expect the system to put out the fire. It detects and alerts.
- Detectors are not maintained — a dirty detector does not work.
- It is installed without a design and zone plan.
FOUR STEPS
- Detection. Smoke and heat detectors register fire in an early stage.
- Alert. The panel sounds the alarm and sends a signal.
- Verification. The monitoring centre confirms the event.
- Response. Alert to responsible people and services by plan.
SYSTEM ELEMENTS
- Smoke detectors. Register smoke before visible flame.
- Heat detectors. For spaces where smoke is unreliable.
- Manual call points. For human alerting.
- Panel. Manages zones and sends the signal.
- Siren and signalling. Audible and visual alert.
- Monitoring link. Alert to the centre 24/7.
ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE, NOT AN OFFER

WHAT THE STANDARDS MEAN
| Parameter | Meaning |
|---|---|
| EN 54 | European standard for fire-detection equipment. |
| VdS | German certification mark for equipment reliability. |
Per the company's claims, the range includes LST (Labor Strauss) and Global Fire systems.
Do detectors cause false alarms?
Dirty ones can. That is why regular maintenance is part of the agreement — a clean detector is a reliable detector.
Is a fire alert a priority in the centre?
Yes. Fire detection has priority in the monitoring centre protocol.
How often should the system be checked?
Regularly, under a maintenance agreement. Frequency depends on the building type.
The site visit and assessment are free of charge.
